Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy involves the client looking deeper into their problems and worries – devising strategies to deal with troublesome habits and other problems such as anxiety and stress.

While psychotherapy usually involves talking with the therapist, it can be even more effective combined with hypnosis/hypnotherapy.

A psychotherapist will help you discuss feelings you have about yourself and important issues affecting your life. They will then suggest strategies for resolving problems and, if necessary, help you change your attitudes and behaviour.

You may also be encouraged to develop your own solutions.

Psychotherapy is effective in the treatment of:

  • Depression
  • Symptoms of anxiety/stress
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Eating disorders
